Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 October 2026 · Version 0.1 (draft)
Draft for legal review. These terms are a working draft and are not legal advice. Items in [square brackets] must be confirmed, and the governing law, liability limits and fee terms need your lawyer’s approval. Delete this box when the text is approved.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and [company legal name], [registration number], of [registered address] (“we”, “us”), for your use of RevReviews, our service for managing Google Business Profile reviews, and our website at revreviews.io (together, the “service”). By creating an account, accepting an invitation or using the service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the service for a business or an agency, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it.
2. Early access
While RevReviews is in early access, features may change, be unavailable or be removed, and the service may have faults. We may limit the number of accounts and may end early access with reasonable notice.
3. Accounts and workspaces
- You must give accurate details and keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Each business has its own workspace. Workspace owners decide who is invited and what each person can do.
- Agencies that manage workspaces for clients must have their clients’ permission to do so, and are responsible for their staff.
- Tell us promptly at [support email] if you think your account has been used without permission.
4. Connecting Google
To use RevReviews you connect a Google Business Profile that you own or are allowed to manage. You confirm that you have that authority. You must follow Google’s terms and policies, including the Google Business Profile policies and the review and content policies. Google may change or withdraw its tools at any time, and we are not responsible for that. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
5. Reviews, drafts and replies
- RevReviews drafts replies using artificial intelligence. Drafts can be wrong or unsuitable. You are responsible for every reply posted from your workspace, whether you approved it or chose automatic posting.
- Replies to reviews below 4 stars are never posted without a person’s approval, and escalated reviews never receive an automatic reply. These safeguards help you but do not replace your own judgement.
- You must not use the service to write, buy, sell or post fake reviews, to offer rewards or other incentives for reviews, to ask only happy customers for reviews, or to pressure customers to change or remove a review.
- Review request tools may be used only with people who have a real connection to your business and in line with the law, including consent and opt-out rules for messaging.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service. For example, you must not break the law, infringe others’ rights, send spam or harassing messages, probe or attack our systems, try to see another workspace’s data, reverse engineer the service, resell it without our written permission, or use it in a way that puts the service or other customers at risk.
7. Your data
You keep ownership of the content and data you bring to the service, including your business information and the reviews and replies on your profile. You give us permission to use it only to run and improve the service for you, as set out in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to give us any customer details you upload. For that data we act as your service provider, and you remain responsible for it under the data protection laws that apply to you.
8. Fees
[Early access is free of charge. Paid plans, if introduced, will be shown before you buy. Prices, billing cycle, taxes, refund terms and any WhatsApp message charges will be set out in the plan or order form.]
9. Our rights
We own the service, including its software, design, logo and name. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service while your account is active. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
10. Third-party services
The service relies on third parties such as Google and, if you use them, messaging providers such as WhatsApp. Their terms apply to your use of them, and they may change or end their services without affecting our ability to end ours.
11. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may update the service and these terms. If a change is important, we will tell account holders by email or in the app, and if you keep using the service after the change takes effect, you accept it.
12. Suspension and ending
You may stop using the service and close your workspace at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if your use puts the service or others at risk. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem first. After a workspace closes, we handle its data as set out in the Privacy Policy.
13. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we do not promise that it will meet your needs, produce any particular result, such as more reviews or a higher rating, or be free from errors. Nothing in these terms limits rights that you have under law that cannot be excluded.
14. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to [the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or MYR 500 if you paid nothing]. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
15. Indemnity
You will cover us for losses and costs that arise from a claim by a third party because you broke these terms or the law, or because of content you posted through the service, except where we caused the loss.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [Malaysia]. The courts of [Kuala Lumpur] have exclusive authority over any dispute, unless the law gives you the right to go to another court.
